Chinatown

A Chinatown is an urban area containing a large population ofChinese in a non-Chinese. More commonly found in North America(Canada and USA) can also be found in certain cities in Europeand Australia.
In Canada and the United States Chinatowns were created in thenineteenth century as the result of discriminatory laws prohibiting the sale of land to Chinese or restrict such sale to a particular areaof the city, singling out the rest of Chinese society.
In Paris's Chinatown was established during the First World Waras a way to replace the French workers who fought in the war.
In England the Chinatowns tend not to focus only on aneighborhood, but in many parts of the city, especially in commercial areas
